Vehicle Sale and Ownership Transfer via Absher – Application Assistance

Alnajah Business Services provides assistance to sellers and buyers with the procedures for selling a vehicle and transferring its ownership electronically through the Absher platform, after both parties have agreed on the transaction and inspected the vehicle. Our role includes reviewing the required information and requirements and assisting with the available electronic steps until the transaction reaches the appropriate stage for completion.

The Absher vehicle sale service allows the transaction to be completed electronically after the seller and buyer agree on the vehicle and sale price, using an official escrow account within the service to document the vehicle payment process and help protect the rights of both parties.

📋 What Does the Service Include?

• Reviewing the vehicle information before starting the sale process.
• Reviewing the seller’s and buyer’s information required for the transaction.
• Checking the basic eligibility requirements displayed for the service.
• Explaining the steps for creating the vehicle sale request.
• Assisting the seller with preparing the buyer’s information and the agreed vehicle price.
• Explaining the buyer’s procedures for accepting the request.
• Reviewing the official payment steps.
• Explaining the vehicle handover and ownership transfer procedures.
• Following up on the transaction status within the agreed scope of service.
• Clarifying the appropriate steps if a notice appears or the transaction cannot be completed.

📑 Key Requirements

According to Absher, current service requirements include:

• Both the seller and buyer must be registered on the Absher platform.
• The vehicle registration must be valid.
• The vehicle must have a valid periodic inspection.
• The vehicle must have valid insurance.
• The vehicle must be in an eligible status and must not be suspended, reported missing, wanted, or seized.
• Traffic violation requirements must be satisfied as specified by the service.
• The required bank accounts must be available to complete the transaction.
• The vehicle must fall within the categories eligible for the service according to the beneficiary’s status.

Absher also specifies an eligible vehicle price range for transactions that can be completed through the service.

💳 Fees and Vehicle Purchase Price

The price displayed in the Alnajah Business Services store represents our assistance, processing, and follow-up service fee only.

It does not include:

• The vehicle purchase price.
• Government ownership transfer fees.
• Absher vehicle sale service charges.
• Insurance costs.
• Periodic inspection fees.
• Traffic fines or other outstanding amounts.
• Any additional official fees that may apply depending on the vehicle or the parties involved.

According to Absher at the time of review:

Government ownership transfer fee: SAR 150.

Absher vehicle sale completion fee: SAR 230, including VAT.

Alnajah Business Services does not receive or hold the vehicle purchase price on behalf of the seller or buyer. Payment for the vehicle must be processed through the official payment channel designated for the transaction within Absher.

Our role is limited to assisting customers in understanding, preparing, and completing the available electronic procedures based on their request.

We do not guarantee completion of the ownership transfer if the vehicle or either party does not meet the service requirements. Vehicle inspection, agreement on its condition and price, and all responsibilities arising from the sale and purchase remain between the seller and the buyer.
