Additional Customs Exemption for Raw Materials Application Assistance
Does your industrial establishment need to increase the quantity of previously exempted raw materials, or add licensed raw materials that have not previously received a customs exemption?
Alnajah Business Services provides independent administrative, technical, and procedural assistance to industrial establishments preparing and following up on an Additional Customs Exemption for Raw Materials application.
The service includes reviewing establishment and Industrial License information, reviewing previous exemption information where available, organizing client-provided material and quantity data, preparing supporting documents, and assisting with the available electronic application procedures within the agreed service scope.
According to the current official service description, this procedure allows industrial establishments to request either an increase in the quantity of exempted raw materials within the licensed limit or the addition of licensed raw materials that have not previously been exempted.
Service Scope
The service may include reviewing establishment and Industrial License information, reviewing previous exemption details, identifying whether the request relates to an increased quantity or the addition of a licensed material, reviewing client-provided material and quantity information, organizing customs-item information and supporting documents, identifying visible administrative deficiencies, assisting with available electronic fields, reviewing information before submission, assisting with application submission and reference-number follow-up, and explaining additional requirements or observations that appear during processing.
Requirements
Actual requirements depend on the establishment, the materials involved, and the applicable requirements at the time the application is submitted.
The client may be required to provide establishment and Industrial License information, previous exemption details where applicable, names of the relevant raw materials, current and requested quantities, available customs tariff information, and supporting documents required by the official service.
The requirements displayed through the relevant official channel at the time of submission will take precedence over any static list.
Important Information About Quantities and Materials
An application for an increased quantity does not mean that the requested amount will automatically be approved. The official service specifies that additional quantities are considered within the licensed limit.
If a raw material is not already included in the applicable Industrial License information, a separate license modification or data-update procedure may be required before the additional customs exemption application can proceed.
Client Responsibility
The client remains responsible for the accuracy, completeness, validity, currency, and authenticity of all information and documents provided.
Alnajah Business Services does not create false information or alter quantities, production-capacity information, or supporting documents for the purpose of bypassing official requirements.
Any review of customs-item or material information under this service is administrative in nature and does not constitute a binding customs classification or professional customs ruling.
Services Not Included
This service does not include guaranteed approval of an increased quantity or additional material, issuance of the customs exemption decision by Alnajah Business Services, modification of production capacity, Industrial License amendments for unlicensed materials or products, binding customs classification without an official reference, customs clearance services, shipping, warehousing, cargo release, restricted-material import permits, or specialized technical and regulatory services outside the agreed scope.
Any separate procedure required will be explained to the client before additional work is undertaken.
Service Fees
The Alnajah Business Services fee is SAR 1,190.
The displayed price represents Alnajah Business Services' administrative, technical, and procedural assistance fee for reviewing, preparing, and following up on the application within the agreed scope only.
The official government service is currently listed as free of charge on the Saudi National Platform.
Any government, third-party, or other official charges that may become applicable are separate and should be based on the amount displayed through the relevant official platform, invoice, or authorized payment channel at the time of the procedure.
Processing Time
The Saudi National Platform currently lists a two-business-day service level for the government service.
This is the authority's published service level and is not a processing-time guarantee by Alnajah Business Services.
Alnajah's processing time begins after the required information and documents have been received in complete and reviewable form and depends on the number of materials, requested quantities, document completeness, and the client's response to any missing requirements.
Account and Data Security
Alnajah Business Services does not request the client's account password or one-time verification code (OTP).
Verification codes must remain with the account holder and should be entered by the account holder through the relevant official channel when required.
